Dr. Lauren Edwards is a Board Certified Acupuncturist in the Sarasota Florida area. She has a sincere passion for sharing her knowledge and personal experience with others to treat the body as a whole and make her patients health her priority.

Dr. Lauren became an acupuncturist after being diagnosed with stage 3 Melanoma cancer. After several surgeries she committed herself to holistic health along with the study of western medicine.  Dr. Lauren mastered her acupuncturing technique at the East West College of the Healing Arts and while studying abroad in China at the Changchun University. She treated alongside the Chief of Medicine in the Acupuncture Department, attending to over ninety patients per day. The hands on experience not only helped to master her technique, but the personal guidance from the local Physicians deepened and enhanced her understanding of the medicine.
